One of the main commands in any fighting game is the "Specials" executed by inputs ranging from quarter circles to DP or whole circles. Most punching and kicking movements can be canceled, as well as a good part of the normal Specials, but there are few cancellable Heavy Specials and more rare cancellable Super Heavy Specials, although several can be canceled to a Super Art (super special movements that we will see below / soon).

Apart from this we have Throws (they are done being very close to the rival and pressing 6H or 4H depending on the situation) this also applies to Air Throws. Most c.H are antiair for which they are considered a universal mechanic. Kicks and punches are fast and low-damage attacks, Specials have a medium speed and strength level, Heavy Specials are strong and somewhat slow and Super Heavy Specials are very slow and strong movements that lift the opponent into the air (if done standing up, you can keep a direction to follow the opponent and execute an aerial combo), throw them to the ground (if done crouching) or slam them against the wall (if done in the air). The game has a control system very inspired by that of Guilty Gear, with a button for punches, another for kicks (note that the fact that they called that does not mean that all movements have to be executed with one of these extremedidades, rather representant attacks basic to the front and upwards in the case of fists and attacks down the case of kicks, with some exceptions)and three for an attack called "Special" (in its light, heavy and super heavy variations), the Specials buttons generally have unique properties (like the "Drive" button in Blazblue), which leaves the following chain of force:Ĭommonly the hierarchy of combos follows this rule of force although there are exceptions, some characters have a inverse combo chain for example.
